‘Tis the season of giving, and we have a lot of giveaways this month!
Frostfire Festival

The Frostfire Festival unranked game mode is back for a limited time! This is an unranked PvP mode where you can bring standard Duelyst II decks, and there will be treasure chests spawning with some funky artifacts. Try it out when you wanna take a break from ranked to just throw some snowballs at your opponent. ❅
Featured Skins
The Frostfire skins are also featured in the shop for a limited time! Nab them while you can before the Frostfire Festival is over!

Custom Scenarios Feature
Custom Scenarios is now live! Players can create and save scenarios in Sandbox mode, and publish them as lethal puzzles for others to try! For more information on how the feature works, check out this Custom Scenarios Guide!
Community Puzzle Contest
To celebrate the release of this feature, we’re holding a contest! To enter, simply publish a public puzzle that starts with [Dec25Contest] in the title by December 25th! You can submit as many puzzles as you like, but note that you will be disqualified if you submit “spam” puzzles (e.g. multiple copies of existing puzzles). After the submission period is over, we will pick 3 winners for the following categories:
- Community Favorite
- We will share a form after the 25th with valid submissions that the community can vote for.
- Dripping with Style
- The puzzle that makes the most creative use of themes, skins, etc. Tell a story with your puzzle!
- Tactical Teacher
- The puzzle that best teaches an interesting/obscure mechanic or interaction.
Each winner will receive an exclusive in-game title for their category, a Prismatic Spirit Orb, and a Snowchaser plush!

Mechaz0r Rising
Three new legendary Mechs have been added to the Core Set! You can craft them with Spirit in your Collection, open them in Spirit Orbs, or buy the Mechaz0r Rising bundle in the Shop, which contains three copies of each card along with title “Of Mechaz0r”.

Thirty-three new cards will be coming to Duelyst II: The Board Game later this month in the Mechaz0r Rising expansion set, along with the new Ultra-Mech card type and new keywords Ranged and Ultimate! Here is a sneak peak of some of the upcoming cards (subject to change before release):

When you buy Mechaz0r Rising, you will unlock an exclusive title, “B0t in Disguise,” and the new Alcuin Loremaster – Loremachine epic skin! That skin is also available now in the shop.

Also, check out the new lore for Mechaz0r Rising to see how Mechaz0r and these other Ultra-Mechs fit into Mythron’s history.
Promo Card Challenge
The top ten S-Rank players from the month of December will win an exclusive board game promo card for 2025!

December Global Community Event
We’ve got a new global challenge for the community! This time, if the community plays 10,000 total games in the month of December, all players will unlock and receive a Rogue Legacy Argeon skin, and if we reach 15,000 total games, all players will unlock and receive a Dogehai Kaleos skin and a Prismatic Spirit Orb! Unlike the last event all PvP game types will be counted, not just Ranked, so the main goal is for everyone to have fun together, no matter which mode you enjoy!

You can track the community’s progress with the following graphic, which will update every day around 8pm ET.
Chromatic Cup Tournamnets
If you enjoy playing competitively, be sure to check out the Chromatic Cup tournaments hosted by P3P0 every two weeks or so.

The Future
This month marks three years since we launched in Open Beta! Progress has been admittedly slow with a limited volunteer crew, but as long as we have your support, we’ll keep working towards delivering more content and updates! The final Sisters wave of new cards is still in progress, and we will resume work on the Godot client in earnest, as well as working on localizations and a process for community localizations so that more people can enjoy Duelyst II in their own native language.
If you’d like to help us out with any of the above or have other ideas you’d like to collaborate on, email us at [email protected]!
